Harrow Hive FC Win the Kane Cup — and We Couldn’t Be Prouder
Harrow Hive FC have won the Kane Cup, beating their opponents 4-1 in what turned out to be a thoroughly deserved victory. As the club’s sponsors, we wanted to mark the occasion properly.
This one means a lot. It is the club’s first trophy in seven years — and having finished runners-up last season, the players and staff knew exactly how close they had come before. This time they went and did it.
Goals came from Gary, Francesco, and Mark. The result was never really in doubt.
A Club Built on the Right Things
What stands out about Harrow Hive FC is not just the result — it is how they got there. Manager Adam Chahin has built a squad with real character. Captain James Pattern leads it well. And behind the scenes, Chairman Mohammad Akhoundzadeh has put in the kind of sustained effort that rarely gets talked about but makes everything else possible.
The club is currently second in the domestic league and through to the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy. The Kane Cup win is part of a bigger picture, not a one-off.
Why We Back Grassroots Football
For more than 25 years, Somerset & Sinclair has worked with clients across Harrow and north-west London, carrying out surveys and valuations on thousands of properties. From helping buyers make informed decisions to supporting families through probate, we have advised homeowners, landlords, and developers on residential and commercial property throughout the region.
Harrow is far more than just another area we cover. It is a community we know well and have longstanding connections with. So when the opportunity came to support a local football club built on ambition, hard work, and genuine community spirit, sponsoring Harrow Hive FC, and supporting their success in the Kane Cup, was an easy decision.
Grassroots football remains heavily underfunded, despite the impact it has on local communities. Clubs at this level are often sustained by volunteers, small membership fees, and a handful of local businesses willing to invest back into the area. The players competing every week, including those pushing for success in competitions like the Kane Cup, do it for the love of the game and pride in representing their club. That commitment deserves meaningful support.
While our work extends across London and nationally, providing RICS-regulated surveys and valuations from Covent Garden to the home counties, local roots still matter. We specialise in residential surveys, lease extensions, shared ownership valuations, Help to Buy, probate, and commercial property advice, but staying connected to Harrow has always remained important to our practice.
Congratulations to everyone involved at Harrow Hive FC on their Kane Cup success. We are proud to see our name on the shirt, and even prouder to see it associated with a club bringing silverware home to the community.
